How To Easily Hang a Tapestry In Different Ways

How to Hang Your Tapestry (In Minutes)
Turn any wall into a cozy, artful corner without drills or stress. Every tapestry comes with 4 adhesive hooks so you can hang it easily and renter-friendly.

Option 1: Use the Adhesive Hooks (Included Free With Everything Boho Tapestries)

  1. Wipe the wall gently to remove dust so the adhesive sticks well.
  2. Peel the backing off the 4 adhesive hooks we provide.
  3. Stick one hook at each corner where you want the tapestry to sit and press for 10–15 seconds.
  4. Hang the tapestry by the corners or loops, and smooth out any wrinkles.

This is the easiest, no-damage method and works perfectly for most walls and rental spaces.

Option 2: Double-Sided Wall Tape

Prefer a completely hardware-free look? Use a strong, wall-safe double-sided tape (like the ones available on Amazon).

  1. Cut the tape into small strips.
  2. Apply along the top edge and corners of the tapestry.
  3. Press the tapestry onto the wall and smooth it out with your hands.

Great for lightweight fabric and very smooth walls. Always choose tape that is safe for painted surfaces.

Option 3: Stick-On Nails or Decorative Pins

If you’re okay with tiny marks or are using metal stick-on nails (often included with décor books/sets):

  1. Place the stick-on nail or pin where you’d like the top corners of the tapestry.
  2. Press or tap it in according to the instructions.
  3. Hang the tapestry from the nail or pin for a clean, minimal look.

Option 4: Frame It for a Statement Look

For an art-gallery feel, you can have your tapestry framed or mounted (with frame rails, canvas stretching, or a shadow box) and then hang it like regular wall art.

Quick Styling Tips

  • Lightly steam or iron on low (back side) to remove fold lines.
  • Use a level app on your phone to keep the top edge straight.
  • Layer with cushions, fairy lights, and a rug to create a cozy nook.
